Our focus is on providing advice on allergy-related topics, conducting scientific studies, and testing and certifying allergy-friendly products, services, and environments with our internationally recognized ECARF Seal of Approval for Allergy-Friendliness. We advise companies that wish to launch a new allergy-friendly product onto the market. We conduct studies on your behalf to determine, for example, whether cosmetics are suitable for people with allergies or whether technical devices make life easier for people with allergies. We certify your allergy-friendly products, services, and environments.

The ECARF Institute was founded in the historic Kaiserin-Friedrich-Haus at Charité—a venue steeped in the tradition of medical science and research. Over the decades, numerous outstanding scientists and Nobel laureates have worked in this unique setting. This scientific tradition also shapes the ECARF Institute’s mission: to combine research, innovation, and medical progress for the benefit of humanity.

ECARF Institute GmbH was founded in 2010. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of the nonprofit ECARF Foundation.
