The internationally renowned ECARF Seal has been certifying products, services and environments as particularly allergy-friendly since 2006. The allergy seal by ECARF for allergy-friendly products like detergents without perfumes or particularly skin-friendly cosmetic products offer trust, a better quality of life and confidence for people with allergies.
Highest quality standards, strict criteria, more safety
An independent advisory board of leading international scientists and technicians has developed strict test criteria for the certification process, which apply to various product groups such as cosmetics, textiles, technical devices and environments. The guidelines include threshold values and exclusion criteria that make an allergic reaction very unlikely. These criteria are regularly updated to include the latest scientific findings. A product only receives the allergy-friendly certification of the ECARF Seal if it can be proven by expert opinions or studies that the requirements are met.
